The House Committee of Government Organization moves to amend the bill on page one, section two, line two, by striking “25 C.F.R. §83.7” and inserting in lieu thereof “Part 83 of Title 25 of the Code of Federal Regulations”;

By amending the bill on page one, section three, line 8, by striking “25 C.F.R. §83.7” and inserting in lieu thereof “Part 83 of Title 25 of the Code of Federal Regulations”;

            By amending the bill on page one, section three, line twelve by striking “25 C.F.R. §83.7” and inserting in lieu thereof “Part 83 of Title 25 of the Code of Federal Regulations”;

And

By amending the bill on page one, section three, line 14, by inserting the new subsection “(c) The state of West Virginia may grant state recognition of a tribe if recommended for recognition by the West Virginia Human Rights Commission: Provided, That the tribe shares a common ancestry and heritage.”.
